School Logos and Mascots

American Platforms produces custom logos that are made from patent pending engineered graphics. They are specially designed to adhere to rubber, as they are the only commercially available solution on the market designed for this application. Our ability to match your school or organization's colors and your logo or mascot design make our logos the smart choice for your school logo or mascot. Our logos are budget friendly and may be applied to new or existing rubber flooring and weightlifting platforms, as well as several other surfaces .

American Platforms logos are used on platforms and flooring by some of the top names in sports, from high schools & universities, to professional NBA, MLB, NHL teams and the U.S. Military.

What is the problem or challenge?

The problem or challenge begins with most schools and organizational budgets. Traditional practices involve a process known as water jet. This is expensive, where flooring manufacturers cut out the logo and fit colored rubber to produce the logo. This is expensive due to a great deal of labor and additional rubber use. American Platforms Logos are an affordable alternative with our platform and flooring graphics.

Can Your Logos Work on Rubber?

HOW ARE YOUR LOGOS APPLIED?

Our logos are engineered graphics, that are specially designed to adhere and to be applied to rubber weightlifting platforms, rubber flooring, wood, vinyl and concrete. The application process is simple and most people can self install these. It takes from 10 to 15 minutes per logo for installation. The operator will simply locate where the logo will be applied, clean the surface where the logo will be applied, peel the protective backing off of the logo and place it on the floor or platform. The roll the logo to remove any space or gaps beneath the graphic and floor surface, apply medium heat from a heat gun and roll the logo again. Logos and graphics are ready for use immediately after heating and rolling.

HOW TO CARE FOR MY AMERICAN PLATFORMS LOGOS

Your logos are protected with a strong anti-skid laminate to increase their life. They may on occasion become soiled, if they require cleaning, then use a damp cloth or neutral cleaning solution to clean the surface. Harsh or powerful cleaning chemicals, commercial power floor brushes and scrubbers, or pressure wash/spray guns should never be used on the logo(s) or around them. The logo(s) should never be saturated or allow water to “stand” on or around the logo application area as this can compromise the adhesion and also the laminate component of the logo.
DO NOT bend or flex your logos after installation. If you have applied American Platforms logos to our low profile all-rubber platforms, do not attempt to relocate them or roll/bend the rubber tiles. Bending or rolling the substrate will result in adhesion failure of the logo and rubber contact surface.

If you must relocate your American Platforms with American Platforms Team Logos installed, please consult a customer service representative with American Platforms for proper instructions to avoid damage or adhesion failure of the logos.

How do we get started with our custom logos?

The 1st Step in getting your logos or mascots for your platforms and/or flooring is to provide us with your logo. It is preferred that we receive a “vector file” for your logo, but if you do not have one, we can work with you using a jpeg or png file type. The difference in a vector and a rastor file is that a vector may be enlarged and you will still see smooth edges and sides of the image. A rastor file, such as a jpeg or png will have rough and jagged edges when enlarged beyond its current or normal size. Get Quote

The 3rd Step is to share with us the type of flooring or surface that you wish to apply your new logos or mascots to. Most importantly, is it recycled rubber, vulcanized or virgin rubber, wood, or concrete. If you know the manufacturer, that’s even better. The final part in STEP 3 is to determine whether you wish to install your new logos or have us assist you in finding a local installer.
